ev. Heidi is a Northwestern Canadian, having lived in four western provinces and two territories. After two years at Lester B Pearson College of the Pacific in Metchosin, she completed her undergraduate degree in Religious Studies at Augustana University College. Her Master of Divinity comes from Vancouver School of Theology. Heidi was ordained in 1998, and after 9 years in Manitoba began ministry with Gordon United in 2007. She is a cat and dog lover, and is currently owned by two tabby cats, Stella and Ori. Rev. Heidi’s hobbies are singing, reading, walking, travelling, and watching BBC mysteries.

Avis Nichol, Office Administrator
Avis Nichol was born in Portsmouth, South Sea England, the eldest of five children; she moved with the family to Canada in 1965. She has lived mostly here on the west coast except for the year when the whole family and the cat Whiskey camped across Canada to the east coast in 1968 and then back again to Victoria in 1969. Avis has worked in accounting in Victoria since 1979 and recently retired from her full time career as the Payroll Administrator for the Cool Aid Society. Avis has two children, three grand children and a wonderful cat, Miss Phoebe.
